Interview: How she does it

Hello, today you guys will see how another college student puts on her make-up. I'm doing a little experiment on how many different ways girls apply their make-up and which is best? So here we go!

This is from a girl who is in her 20's and goes to school at Mt.Sac, Leti Caballero. She is about a year into college and has been doing her make-up since she was in high school, if you ask me she does a great job!

I asked her in a question and answer format:)

1. What kind of make-up do you use?
I use Mary-Kay medium coverage 304

2. How does it work for you?
I love it because it does not make me oily!

3. How do you apply your make-up?
I use my fingers but I know I should use a foundation brush, I need to buy one.

4. What do you apply first?
Concealer

5. What is the order of what you apply to your face?
So concealer, foundation, powder, eyebrow-liner, eyeliner, mascara, lip liner, and lipstick

6. What is your favorite line of products?
MAC for sure but it gets pricey

7. Do you ever change up your make-up?
Yes, for other occasions

8. What do you do differently?
Mostly a change of lip stick and add eye-shadow maybe.

So those are things the average college student does, next blog I will be doing showing video on what my everyday make-up routine is, so look out for that!

Longer Eyelashes

Eyelashes:)
Hi, I wanted to share a tip that I recently discovered and it is how to make your eyelashes even longer, here we go!

So what you will need is...
1. Blow-drier
2. Mascara
3. Your Eyes:)

Personally I put the blow-drier on low/cool, apply it toward my face. Then apply my mascara, mine is from Rimmel London called scandal eyes. Finally do your eyes like normal and you should see a more longer lash extension because the air blowing is letting the mascara voluming your lashes!

Hope this works for you!

Make your eyes standout:)

Hello, so today is all about EYES, I have just been fascinated with eyes lately, and so I wanted to find a way (research)to find how to make the color of your eyes stand out! Here we go:D

The answer is EYELINER: (for girls mainly_:D)

If you have green eyes...
For green eyes the best colors for you are: Plums, purples, dark gray, blacks and charcoals, shades of brown and brownish-pink will help green eyes look even greener:) The darker the liner, the more your green eyes will pop, like with deep purples, dark browns, blacks and charcoal. Choose WARM toners like browns, golden browns, red plums to make eyes look greener and lighter. Choose "cool" tones like deep navy blue, blue purples, deep teal to make your green eyes look bluer.  Avoid light colored liners like light teal, light blues if your green eyes are lighter and darker shades if your eyes are darker green.

If you have brown eyes...
To help brown eyes stand out uses colors like slate blue, gray, and plum. Brown eye girls are very lucky, though you make not think that. Because brown is a neutral color almost any makeup shade look greats on brown eyes.  It is best to choose WARM toners like golden browns, deep red plums, Bronze to make eyes seem warmer and softer. Or you can choose "cool" tones like black, deep navy blue, cool dark browns, dark metal grays to make your brown eyes look cooler, and sometimes darker. It is best to void light colored liners like light pinks and light purples.

If you have blue eyes...

Shades likes black, turquoise, brown, taupe, light brown or caramel (as listed below) will help blue eyes seem even bluer. As for darker liner, it makes yours eyes pop, like with dark browns, blacks and charcoal. If you choose a green liner, choose a darker green like dark golden green or forest green. Too light of a green color will not accentuate blue eyes, but make your eyes fade. Also avoid blue liner unless it is super dark navy blue. Your choice:)

I hope this was helpful let me know what you think, if you would like to see a tutorial let me know:) I'm about to put up a foundation tutorial, if you guys would like to see that let me know too! Thank you for viewing, it makes so to me.

Bathing Suit Guide

Bathing Suit Guide
The key is to look for the perfect one & have confidence about it!

When looking for the "perfect one" search for something that complements your body, anyone can wear one! If you want to see a faster live version of this check out my YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJlaFOxUqIY&feature=plcp

There are so many to choose from: (along with cheesy drawings_:D)
1. Triangle Bikini -most popular (Very common). This is one that has a fun feel, the one thing that bugs me personally is that I am super paranoid that someone will pull the string by accident and... there goes my bathing suit! But if your comfortable go for it, they are super cute!

2. Holter Bikini- best if you have a bigger bust- lots of support! Watch out for lots of sequence it can be a little overpowering.

2. Underwire Bikini- Mostly for active people (support). The great thing about this is that you can most likely find something similar to your bra size! :)

3. Band-aid Bikini's- For people with a smaller bust. Band-aid also known as bando tops, can accentuate your bust making it look a bit more full up top:). Plus its cute! For distraction (which is best) look for tops with ruffles, patterns or floral buttons. The more going on the more distracting! This one just has strings hanging down, one way of distracting! ( There is another example of a band-aid bikini under this example)

4. One piece bathing suit- For all the curvy girls, one pieces with a sweet heart neck line (heart shapes top) are best to make you look even better. Especially the ones with skirt dresses. Its best to stay away from shimmers, metallic, or silvery because it will highlight extra skin that you may be trying to hide! If you are curvy do not be afraid to wear a two piece! Work curves your curves!!! :)

5. If you are on the shorter side- If you are a Short-legged, torso, whatever, a short person to give the allusion of being a little taller wear solid bottoms and patterned top focused to upper body (vertical lines for an even longer look). The reason for that is because when people look at you it kind of drags and makes your body seem longer! Which so wonderful, if you ask me:)) (added ruffles don't hurt on the bottom!)

6.If your on the taller side- to complement your long shape, cool one pieces with cut outs are best for you because it chops your body up almost, showing little pieces here and there makes you look like the perfect model without making you look too long. I also see this often with models, especially in Victoria Secret (who are tall). So try it out, the worst that could happen is you won't like it.

Cover ups:
Here are some different kinds:
Holter top - to compliment you swimsuit!
Towel kind - for comfort:)
V-neck - to see bikini, show it off (transparent ones are grate too!)

Hats:
Protect your hair!
Floppy hats: little or big, these are very much in style, so embrace it!
Fedora hats -floral bands are the top for a more girly look (won't protect as much)

You can buy any of these products almost at any store, so be on the look out for what is best for you! Don't forget to where sunblock! :)

Finals Sminals!

Hello, today I wanted to give  a quick tip on finals work!

Here we go:
So if your a first time college student or a freshman this most likely applies to you! Though, this really applies to anyone who knows doesn't know this.

So the tip of the day is...
If you need help ask!

The reason for this is because tutors, books or others who know what they are doing, could only help! Do not have too much pride or be ashamed, one day you could help someone!
What is tedious about this is that it takes time; however in the long run it pays off. I sure have learned my lesson and want to pass it on! So get help it helps haha:)

Have a great day and do well on your finals, good luck!!!
