New artwork + Stuggle #5!
New artwork for this blog The Wonder Years, from a special friend named Bianca Pescina, Enjoy!_:]

Back to the struggle #5 Past time activities!
What do you do when you are free?
---> To study?
---> To friends?
---> To family?
---> To yourself?
---> To exercise?
I personally make time for all of these by using all of the past blogs tactics.
Studying: is a normal thing if I want great grades. I make it a habit to have 'library time' in my house; meaning its semi-quiet and library-like.
Friends: with many of my friends we make time to see each other, either a breakfast, lunch, dinner, outing, church whatever. (after I'm done studying of course)
Family: after learning... the best way is to divide up my time equally since my parents are divorced and my best friend's family is practically mine too ;D (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Myself: taking my 10 minutes for myself! Walking, running, drawing, dancing, basically anything I personally enjoy!
Exercise: The best way to exercise is to be motivated. Make sure to have fun. Maybe make it a challenge?;]
Anyway that is all for today! Hope you liked this:]

$truggle -Money
Hi, so today is all about finances!
One of students biggest stresses is money! Everything is so expensive. How can I stretch out my money?
Here are a couple of tips...
1. Scholarships! So many scholarships go to waste every year. Some are simple and some take time BUT it is well worth it. At Mt.Sac there are workshops about scholarships. Check it out: http://stars.mtsac.edu/stars/
2. Prioritize, meaning spend wisely. Personally I have learned to make money last by watching my spending, you can do it too!
Simple and sweet today, hope you liked it!

Music: What's new?
Jason Mraz :]]

http://jasonmraz.com/preorder/
As a college student who is not into music? My new obsession is Jason Mraz and his new album, cannot wait! He is releasing new singles soon. On his website there are puzzles to solve to watch some new songs. Go look :]
Struggle 3: Religious Views
Hello hello, welcome back :]
Some ways to make religion helpful for you...
Based on my personal experience with this, I found it best to follow what I think and try to understand, then the rest for me fell into place.
What do people on campus think? (short summary)
As I spoke to some religious students on campus (Mt.Sac). I discovered that having some type of belief, keeps most of us going in a postive direction! It's crazycakes, amazing. Most of their advice was finding friends who have the same values as themselves and make something out of it! If your friends are behind what you believe in, most find themselves wanting a faith with you.
Are you Christian or Catholic? Check out these churches that I have personally been too and like :]

I hope you gained something out of this, it's my advice to you all. Enjoy. Feel free to leave comments of how you feel about religion? Thank you!

Struggle :Part 2!
Hello -back to daily struggles!
Today's topic: Family, Friends and Relationships :]
My advice:
A. To be happy is the key to happiness, why not, right? (most of the time)
B. This is related to the book called Keep Calm and Carry On-basically a book of quotes that help me stay focus. I would personally date something, so I had one per day :]
Today's topic: Family, Friends and Relationships :]
#2. Family, Friends and Relationships
My advice:
- (A) Keep the jar full of grace
- (B) Keep calm on carry on
- (C) Have someone (mentor, bestfriend, boyfriend, all three?)
- (D) Set time for yourself

B. This is related to the book called Keep Calm and Carry On-basically a book of quotes that help me stay focus. I would personally date something, so I had one per day :]
C. Have someone!
I have some people in my life that I can talk to, they are a HUGE help!
1st family-it's very nice to be able to build on relationships.
2nd friends-I have a mentor and a bestfriend. They make life so much better!!! When I'm sad, happy, excited, crazycakes whatever, they are always there. Don't forget you can reach out to people too :]
D. Set time for yourself!
I personally do my 10-30 minutes to myself daily whether it is...
- working out - running, hiking
- reading the bible or books
- dancing
- journaling with my best friends
- thinking
Life can be hard... but its what YOU make of it! Have fun :]
This is part 2, more to come. Thanks for reading "The wonder years" :]

Struggle :Part 1
What college student doesn't struggle?
- Classes
- Family, Friends and Relationships
- Religion
- Finances
- Pastime activities
-There are many more amongst these listed... if you have any you would like to hear about list them below (in the comments box).
My personal experiences mainly deal with these four topics. Over the next few days I will be discussing these in more detail. :]
1. Classes
- Getting that "A"-studying
On that note, one thing I found most helpful is being organized! Hello, an AGENDA! Making sure I meet all my deadlines and turn in all assignments. I bought this one, in particular, from Barnes and Noble! One of my favorite book stores.
GETTING THE GRADES I WANT.
After trying many different forms of studying I found the best way to study is to...
1. Study somewhere it is quiet!
2. Remove any distractions
3. Give myself a break during periods of studying
The best place for me is somewhere there is has a flat surface; similar to my school environment.
This is my number one struggle as a college student, and how I choose to cope, hope you enjoy this!

1st Blah(g)
Hello, my name is Amanda and I would like to invite you to my journey-living the college experience!
I will be following everyday issues college students encounter and how to deal with them. I am currently a full time student. I am always busy and I try to enjoy life as it happens.
Today, March 17, 2012 (St. Patrick's day)
It is told for everyone to wear green to minimize pinching, I always disliked being pinched as a little kid on this day. Today I won't have to worry since I'm wearing green!_:]
ANYWHO...
I have this obsession with leggings! They are so comfortable. Problem is I always find some way to tear them, so I have been on this quest to find leggings that are thick enough not to tear. The best ones I have come across are Steve Madden leggings. Which leads me to sewing and how college students should learn how to sew-since most of us are running low on money? Therefore, today I learned how to properly sew.
I learned into ways
1. Asking my grandma ( She was to shy to do a video, sorry)
2. The one and only youtube! here is the link... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUE_ATvXIdA)
